Bridget Ryan started out with an awesome early morning breakfast show called ‘Big Breakfast’ back in 2000 as a Remote Guest Host. She signed on full time in 2003, and since then, has brought mornings and morning shows to new heights…LITERALLY! In 2006, she was the first On-Air Host in Canada to repel LIVE down the side of a 31 story building with the Drop Zone (in support of the Easter Seals), with her camera man by her side. Now ‘Breakfast Television’, one can tune in any given morning and see Bridget learning a new synchronized swimming routine, barreling down the side of our local ski hill in an effort to break the ‘Fastest Log Roll’ or being put through the paces with the ladies and gentlemen of the Military out at the Canadian Forces Base.

Bridget is committed to focusing on Edmonton and celebrating what a great and diverse city this is. As Producer and Host, she has created ‘How Cool Is Your School’, ‘Say What?!’ and ‘Finish That Phrase’, where awesome Grade 2 students do just that…the result…often hilarious. During the holiday season – Bridget will take to the streets and perform ‘RANDOM ACTS OF CHRISTMAS’…something she started producing/hosting back in 2005. The response was overwhelming!

Bridget is also committed to doing everything she can to promote those that are the unbelievable angels in our community. She was the Spokesperson for Canadian Liver Foundation and The Kidney Foundation of Canada. She received the AWARD of MERIT in 2009 for her work with the Easter Seals. Since 2008, Bridget has been an Ambassador for Habitat for Humanity (complete with a pink hard hat!) and is a huge supporter of WIN HOUSE. Bridget comes from a performing arts background, so she has put her talents to good work as well. In 2007 Bridget created THE BREAST SHOW with Shannon Tyler, a hilarious musical cabaret, celebrating women’s strength and courage, that continues to be performed across this province, creating awareness as well as a few laughs. She has MC’d/Auctioneered for just about every organization in this city, from UNITED WAY Campaign Kick-Off to THE UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL Foundations’ FESTIVAL OF THE TREES, and considers it a huge honor every time she steps up to the microphone.
